Datalink Suite
With typical BMC® Remedy IT Service Management enterprise deployments, data configuration and maintenance tasks consume upwards of 30% of total project costs. What should be a straight-forward set of activities, the realities of defining, normalizing, transforming, and loading data into the IT Service Management foundation database tables presents organizational as well as technical challenges for virtually every customer. Enterprise ITSM Data Management The Datalink products seamlessly integrate with the BMC Remedy ITSM foundation data tables allowing customers to quickly and easily load foundation data. The Datalink suite is designed around the dynamic and iterative nature of defining and loading data into the ITSM tables, verify its accuracy, correct the data (in bulk, if necessary), and reload. Once data validation is complete, the data can be easily migrated from one environment to another ensuring accuracy and repeatability in the data management process. Additionally, once in production, the Datalink tools have bulk administration capabilities to maintain the foundation data and continue with incremental deployments or onboarding of additional users and groups. The Effective Technologies Datalink suite of products is developed on the BMC Remedy Action Request system foundation. By leveraging native AR System workflow capabilities, customers can update the out of box data management workflow to adapt and expand the Datalink products to their unique situation and business needs.
