Change Management
Change management is the ability to cost-effectively govern, coordinate, communicate, and implement changes to configuration items in an IT infrastructure based on business need. These infrastructure changes involve people, systems, networks, applications, and other software components that are tightly integrated and require a high degree of coordination. Together with other related IT processes such as configuration management and release management, effective change management enables IT to respond to business need and manage the inherent risk of change in a complex environment.
